Day 32 – The return of the lost of art of ‘Hello’
We will get to a time where we no longer need to social distance or self-quarantine because of COVID-19, but I hope we continue to help out those around us.
I’ve noted over the last several days how friendly people are. No one is hugging or shaking hands, but I’ve been a part of many ‘hello’s’ from people who would otherwise walk by each other. I’ve also heard way more ‘how are you doing’s?’ said with care and concern. And people are listening when they hear and answer.
When this global pandemic passes I’m making a commitment to continue to say ‘hello, how are you doing?’ Not only do I think it helps to knit the fabric of our community together but it also brings me joy.
